Winter Series

Historic Films and more!

Winter Series for adults is a Monday evening once each month from January to April when we gather to watch a film, enjoy an historical topic, or discuss a book we have read.  In the past we have watched “Captain Phillips”, “Monuments Men” or a film about the history of local tanneries, and even enjoyed an evening of humor done by the Hamilton Gibson “Acting Out” troupe, who are shown doing a fun sketch about a trip to the Iszard’s department store in Elmira in days gone by.  These are always free and open to the the public, call the Library to see what is on tap for Winter 2018.
