SML Senior Series: Food Sources

May 4 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

The Senior Series at Spalding Memorial Library offers engaging programs designed to help older adults stay informed, connected, and active in the community. Topics include health, nutrition, local resources, technology, and more. Each session features guest presenters and opportunities to learn, ask questions, and connect with neighbors.

Happy Compromise Farm + Sanctuary, a nonprofit community farm in Waverly, grows fresh produce for our rural food-desert community and distributes it through the Free Farm Stand and satellite locations.

Representatives from the Area Agency on Aging will also share information about services for adults 60 and older, including the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, which provides vouchers for fresh fruits and vegetables.

Together, they will highlight local programs that help seniors access fresh, healthy food.

Programs are free and open to the public. All events take place from 1:30–3:00 PM at Spalding Memorial Library.

Need Transportation?
