Each session features guest presenters and opportunities to learn\, ask questions\, and connect with neighbors. \nHappy Compromise Farm + Sanctuary\, a nonprofit community farm in Waverly\, grows fresh produce for our rural food-desert community and distributes it through the Free Farm Stand and satellite locations. \nRepresentatives from the Area Agency on Aging will also share information about services for adults 60 and older\, including the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program\, which provides vouchers for fresh fruits and vegetables. \nTogether\, they will highlight local programs that help seniors access fresh\, healthy food. \nPrograms are free and open to the public. All events take place from 1:30–3:00 PM at Spalding Memorial Library. \nNeed Transportation? \nBeST Transit is offering $1 rides to and from the library for residents of participating senior living communities. \nFor transportation assistance or more information\, please contact BeST Transit at 570-888-7330.
